I’m in The Sun today, talking about why sex toys are BRILLIANT. This being the tabloid press they’ve left out quite a bit of pertinent info – and also an absolutely brilliant pic of me in a bed tent under my duvet, waggling a Doxy around my ears – but whatever you think of the paper itself, the fact that this sort of thing is now being discussed openly is just awesome.
When I was growing up, most women didn’t admit to even wanking, let alone buying and using vibrators. This was probably a huge amount to do with the fact that back then, most vibes were pretty cheap and nasty. It took an infamous appearance on Sex and the City for the Rampant Rabbit to achieve fame (and huge fortune for its inventors), but sex toys have never looked back.
Modern designs are expensively luxurious and often verging on works of art, but even at the cheaper end of the market, delights still abound. Some of the ‘nation’s favourite’ sex toys even appeared on UK television this week, when the This Morning programme reported on Good Housekeeping’s sex toy round up.
It boils down to this – sex is FUN. Regardless of whether you do it alone or in company, sex is healthy and enjoyable and downright good for you. Get buzzing!
